Painting in Exmoor

Paint the wild open moorland, jagged cliffs and hidden harbours in this stunning national park.

Introduction

Get creative in the Exmoor National Park. Paint the wide open heather moorland, wooded river valleys, jagged cliffs and sandy beaches. This ancient landscape is peppered with pretty villages and rare wildlife. Based from a luxury  converted traditional mill building, this trip will be a perfect opportunity to unwind, breathe in the fresh air and shake off the memories of lockdown over a cream tea or few drinks with like-minded creatives. And of course, to improve your photography skills with help from an expert tutor!

WHAT MAKES THIS TRIP SPECIAL?

Exmoor squeezes a lot of diverse and beautiful landscapes into a relatively small area. Rather than moving between different hotels as on our overseas trips, we'll be staying in one beautiful residence for the whole week, giving us the chance to slow down, relax and focus on our creative endeavours. The stunningly converted stone barn makes a perfect base for our explorations of the area and a homely place to return to for dinners, barbecues and displays of the best photographs and paintings from the trip.

WHY PAINT HERE?

With it's diverse scenery, Exmoor is a landscape painters dream, with so many different beautiful landscapes to choose from, clifftop views of the ocean, spring colours of the Exmoor Heathers and even the amazing view just stepping out of our accommodation.  As on all Frui trips, a professional painting tutor will be present throughout to help you really get the best from your paintings.
