Frui Limited (“we” or “Frui”) is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. 1. Information we collect from you

We will collect and process the following data about you:

1.1 Information you give us. This is information about you that you give us by filling in booking forms on our website www.frui.co.uk (“our site”) through one of the companies offering vouchers for our courses or by corresponding with us by phone, e-mail or otherwise. It includes information you provide when you register to use our site, subscribe to our service, search for a service, make a booking on our site, enter a competition, promotion or survey, request a brochure on our site, sign-up to our email newsletter and when you report problem with our site. The information you give us may include your name, address, e-mail address and phone number, financial and credit card information.

1.2 Information we collect about you. With regard to each of your visits to our site we will automatically collect the following information:

  • technical information, including the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet, your login information, browser type and version, zone setting, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform;
  • information about your visit, including the full Uniform Resource Locators (URL), clickstream to, through and from our site (including date and time), products you searched for, page response times, download errors, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks, and mouse-overs), methods used to browse away from the page, and any phone number used to call our customer service number.
  • information we receive from other sources. This is information we receive about you if you use any of the other services we currently provide or may provide in the future. In this case, we will have informed you when we collected that data if we intend to share that data internally and combine it with data collected on this site. We will have told you for what purpose we will share and combine your data. We are working closely with third parties (including, for example, business partners, sub-contractors for technical, payment and delivery services, advertising networks, analytics providers, search information providers, credit reference agencies). 2. Special category personal data

We may ask you to provide certain information relating to your health, including any medical conditions, to determine whether such health issues may affect any product or service in which you are interested in particular to ensure your safe enjoyment of any holiday or course which we offer.. We will only process such data where you have provided your explicit consent to us doing so.

3. Uses made of the information

3.1 We will use information you give to us:

  • to carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into between you and us and to provide you with the information, products and services that you from us;
  • to provide you with information about other goods and services we offer that are similar to those that you have already purchased or enquired about;
  • to notify you about changes to our service;
  • to ensure that content from our site is presented in the most effective manner for you and for your computer, smartphone or tablet;
  • to enable trusted external partners (including digital marketing agencies and social media platform operators) to identify relevant audiences for our marketing (please note that our trusted external partners may have access to the personal information needed to perform their functions, but may not use it for other purposes).

4. Marketing and Advertising

Our service is about providing you with the best holiday and course offers. When you sign up to our service, you recognise that we will contact you regularly with information about the offers we market. Most marketing messages we send will be by email but occasionally we may also contact you by post or phone. If you are using our website or app we may also send you push notifications if you accept to receive them. If you do not want to receive, or wish to reduce, marketing messages from us, you will be able to tell us by changing your marketing preferences in your account.

5. Disclosure of your information

You agree that we have the right to share your personal information with:

  • Any member of our group, which means any subsidiaries, any ultimate holding company and its subsidiaries, as defined in section 1159 of the Companies Act 2016;
  • selected third parties including business partners, suppliers and sub-contractors for the performance of any contract we enter into with you; analytics and search engine providers that assist us in the improvement and optimisation of our site;
  • credit reference agencies for the purpose of assessing your credit score where this is a condition of us entering into a contract with you;
  • trusted external partners (including digital marketing agencies and social media platform operators) to identify relevant audiences for our marketing activities. Please note that our external partners may have access to the personal information needed to perform their functions, but may not use it for other purposes.

We may disclose your personal information to third parties if we are under a duty to do so to comply with any legal obligation, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Frui Limited, our customers, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organisations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction. We will inform you if we need to disclose your personal data for such purpose.

6. Where we store your personal data

The data that we collect from you will be transferred to, and stored at, a destination inside the European Economic Area (“EEA”). It will also be processed by staff outside the EEA who work for us or for one of our suppliers. This includes staff engaged in, among other things, the delivery of your holiday, the processing of your payment details and the provision of support services. By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing. We will take all steps r necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy.

All information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers. Any payment transactions will be securely encrypted. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of our site, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share any passwords with anyone.

7. How Long we keep your personal Information

Where we process registration data, we do this for as long as you are an active user of our sites and for a period of time after this. Where we process personal data for marketing purposes or with your consent, we process the data until you ask us to stop and for a short period after this (to allow us to implement your requests).

We also keep a record of the fact that you have asked us not to send you direct marketing or to process your data so that we can respect your request in future. This record will be kept for as long as we retain your personal data in accordance with this section.

Where we process personal data in connection with performing a contract or for a competition, we keep the data for 6 years from your last interaction with us. This includes any correspondence that you have had with our customer services team, so that we may resolve any complaints or claims that are made.

  • You may have the right to restrict our processing of your personal data in certain circumstances.
  • You may have the right to request a copy of your personal data from us in a commonly used and machine-readable format or that we transmit your personal data another data controller,
  • You may have the right not to be subject to automated decision-making, including profiling, which has legal or other significant effects on you.
