Going back to the hustle and bustle of the colonial town of Fort Cochin, where we can visit the markets and find out how the link to the Portuguese has influenced the cuisine.

Take a ride on one of the East's most unique journeys on a backwater boat cruise by houseboat, and partake in an onboard cooking lesson followed by dinner.

One thing's for sure, on all our trips you’ll always get your own ensuite room for no single supplement and small group sizes no bigger than 8 people. Our trips are designed to be fun and sociable, and even where a meal isn’t included, we’ll book you into a must-try restaurant so that you still eat as a group.

At Frui we don’t believe cooking trips should mean that you end up sitting in a kitchen the whole time! We think that part of the joy of travelling is learning about the culture of a place through the cuisine. So we won't be based from one ‘villa’. Instead, we’ll be out and about meeting the farmers, producers and the local mamas on a quest to discover the very best of the region's food.
