An afternoon of art for Improvers at Tate Britain!

Know a little bit about drawing? This is the next step to develop your drawing skills

Preferably you will have a bit of experience of drawing - from one of our courses, school or just a natural skill!  On this 'Improvers' course, you’ll spend happy hours sketching the wonderful sculptures and interior of Tate Britain - reinforcing and building on the basic principles of drawing.

Our amazing, experienced tutors will help you develop your skills, building your confidence through some more challenging subjects and techniques, to play with quality of line, tone and proportion, plus exploring a range of materials creating some works of art to take home and be really proud of.

A truly fun time, inspiring and sociable amongst the beautiful surroundings of the Tate Britain with jargon-free, down to earth tuition.

What should you bring?

All the basic drawing materials are provided, however if you want to bring your own please feel free.  Most importantly, just bring yourselves and a big dollop of creativity.

Please note: It can get cold in the gallery, so please wrap up warm.
