Photography in Ethiopia

Forget the stereotypes, this could be one of the most hospitable and spectacular countries in Africa.

Introduction

As the only African country to escape colonisation, Ethiopia retains a rich and fascinating culture and ancient indigenous traditions that survive into the present day. The country is relatively unknown as a travel destination, so you can enjoy some of the most amazing scenery and monuments in the world without tourist crowds. On this nine day ‘Explorer’ photography holiday we will travel deep into rugged heart of northern Ethiopia. From the Smoking Fire Waterfalls to the Simien Mountains to the ancient city of Gondar, we will be seeing and photographing it all.
