Quintessentially Spanish traditions, dramatic natural landscapes and the legacy of the Moors: in Andalusia, inspiration is everywhere
Introduction
In a country full of iconic traditions, food, cities and landscapes, Andalusia is perhaps the most vibrant region. The Roman, Moorish and Spanish empires have all left their marks on the area: in the food and culture as much as the architecture. Brits sometimes mistakenly associate Andalusia mainly with package holiday resorts, but outside of these isolated areas it's one of the regions of Europe most rich in living traditions.

What Makes This Trip Special?
Taking the form of a road trip through Andalusia's coasts, hills and cities, we'll discover the best the region has to offer. As well as capturing the sights of the region, we've planned special activities to get under the skin of the regional traditions; from tasting sherry in a local bodega, to watching a flamenco performance, to a carefully curated tour of the best tapas bars in Seville.

Why Photograph Here?
It's full of visually incredible scenes natural and manmade, new and old. There's the medieval city of Ronda perching on the edge of huge cliffs, and the dancing kites and sails of the surfers at Tarifa. We'll witness traditional activities like sherry making in the hills of Jerez, and the bustling modern street life of Cadiz and Seville. As with all Frui holidays, we take you to the most photogenic scenes, but our expert tutors encourage you to capture it in your own way, making the evening photo displays an inspiring mix of creative styles.
