Photography in Japan

Simultaneously ancient and futuristic, there is simply nowhere on earth quite like Japan

Introduction

From the neon lights of Shibuya Crossing, to the serene views of Mount Fuji, Japan is both modern and exotic, and full of iconic sights. On this ten day trip we’ll experience the country’s futuristic side in the high- tech districts of Tokyo and it’s ancient traditions in historic Kyoto. We’ll witness the stunning natural beauty around Hakone, and throughout the journey we’ll sample Japan’s famous food and drink and experience its unique cultural quirks.

What Makes This Trip Special?

As well as taking you to the most iconic sights, Frui's Japanese- speaking photography tutor will help you to get under the skin of this sometimes baffling country to unexpected locations, local restaurants and cultural experiences not available to the average tourist.

Why Photograph Here?

Japan's distinctive design and architecture styles make it a visual delight. From the precisely manicured gardens of kyoto to the neon lights of Shinjuku, everything is just asking to be photographed and your expert tutor will be on hand wherever you go to help you make the most of the subject matter. Your camera was probably designed in Japan. Why not take it home?
