Photography Holidays Bolivia

Photography Holiday in Bolivia

For lovers of the epic landscape, one of our most spectacular destinations has to be Bolivia. There is no better place in which to recalibrate your sense of scale. Vast “white desert” salt flats, barren plains interrupted only by pink flamingos, the hulks of wrecked trains and the distant snow-capped volcanoes all providing stunning backdrops to your photos.

We'll tour colonial Sucre, Bolivia's most beautiful city and its symbolic heart, experience a spooky underground culture in the mines of Potosi then surface to photograph the mind-bending space of largest salt flat in the world. Around the shores and islands of Lake Titicaca we will visit the indigenous cultures of the Incas whose traditions survive into the present day and finish in the world's highest capital city, exploring the eclectic markets then travelling high above the hustle and bustle by cable car.

As always with Frui, our attentive guides and tutors will be on hand over the whole trip providing expert photographic tuition and catering to your every need - additional shopping trips, restaurant bookings, accommodation and transfers. It's like having your very own butler with you on holiday. Everything's taken care of allowing you to explore your creative side while honing your photography.

Amazon Rainforest Extension

If you don't want the adventure to end there, there's an optional extension trip into the depths of the Amazon Rainforest. From La Paz we'll take a flight down to Rurrenbaque on the edge of the Amazon, and from there journey by car and boat into the tropical wetlands of the Madidi National Park, where we'll encounter indigenous communities and a panoply of jungle wildlife.

Why you’ll love this holiday

‘I know I'll always meet a bunch of fun (and usually slightly drunken!) girls and guys who won't get bored with my picture-taking obsession on a Frui holiday!’
